Rapid City, South Dakota

Building bridges through service and friendship.

We bring people of diverse faith traditions together to learn from one another, strengthen our community, and serve our neighbors.

Many traditions. One community.

The Rapid City Interfaith Council creates space for people and faith communities to connect with respect, pursue shared service, and contribute to a welcoming Black Hills community.

Understanding

We create opportunities to listen, learn, and build genuine relationships across faith traditions.

Service

We turn shared values into practical action for our neighbors and the wider Rapid City community.

Friendship

We foster connection, goodwill, and a durable sense of belonging among people of all backgrounds.

Our shared purpose

“We endeavor to build bridges of understanding and spread light through service and friendship.”
